Grades K-12 NOW ENROLLING The curriculum that we are going to be using is A.C.E. If you've ever heard of PACEs, it is the same. It is a wonderful christian curriculum that has been around for a very long time. Pastor Terry actually graduated from a PACE christian school.
There is a lot of information, too much to email. I have lots of info here at the church if you want to look over some of the curriculum or info regarding the accreditation. The website you can look at to get info is: schooloftomorrow.com
We have completed the fire and health department inspections. We are now waiting to complete the city inspection. Of course, we are waiting on the city.
We will have full school days, 8-3 or 3:30, Mon -Fri. We will have chapelevery Wed. There will be P.E. every Fri, which we will take the kids to the new Lake Eva complex. Uniforms will consist of jeans or khaki pants (basketball shorts for P.E., of course) and polos for the shirts (t-shirts for P,E,). We are working with restaurants in the area for lunch discounts (i.e. pizza days, subs, etc.). Otherwise, students will bring there own lunch. We have scholarships available through Florida Pride (I think Justin brought one home). The tuition if you don't qualify for one of the scholarships is $3650. Additionally, $300.00 curriculum fee (this includes PACEs "books," individual student "office" materials, etc.) and $50.00 registration fee.
There is a DVD we will require interested parents to come and view before registering their child. It gives in detail information regarding this particular curriculum we will be using. We will not be using any additional curriculum in conjunction with A.C.E. This curriculum is a solid academic curriculum that is bible-based and is truly an individualized way of learning. Diagnostic test (which is free). He can take that test from that website. Just click on Diagnostic Test and the prompts will guide you. When it asks for the start level you will want to enter "Level 6." The reason for this is if there are any gaps in his learning it will alert us and we can order his curriculum accordingly. He must finish it in one sitting so he will want to prepare to be there for a while once he begins. When he finishes he should let you know and we would need the scores.
