WebBrowserTV is a software that allows you to watch live worldwide
television through the computer, or through your TV. It uses your Internet
connection as the “antenna” or “satellite dish” to connect you to over 3,000
live TV channels. Works from ANYWHERE in the world. It's compatible with both
high-speed, as well as dial-up. It’s completely legal, because it connects users
directly to the channel sources. If you have a computer and Internet service,
all you need is the software. WebBrowserTV™ allows you to use your computer
monitor as your TV screen. You can also connect your computer to your TV set for
an even larger view (more info on connecting to TV on the FAQs
section.)
WebBrowserTV requires no monthly fees. Any computer (PC or Mac)
can become a live worldwide TV with WebBrowserTV. Channels are listed in
order by country and genre.
Technical Specs:
▪ Downloadable software
▪ Over 3,000 channels (please click here for channel
coverage
info)
▪ 72KB in size (only a fraction of one
megabyte--a
megabyte is a fraction of one gigabyte). Most of the
files
run from our servers.
Technical Requirements:
▪ Internet connection (high-speed connection preferred;
still works on dial-up--although
slower)
▪ ANY Internet browser (such as Internet Explorer,
FireFox,
1) When I try to purchase the
software I get a "This session contains invalid data" error:
This error is usually displayed when using FireFox. Please
use another browser (such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.)
instead.
2) The shopping cart would
not allow me to order just one copy; it keeps adding another copy every time I
click on the "refresh" or "back" buttons:
In that case, simply replace the "1" with a "0" (zero) in
the quantity field, on any of the extra copies you do not want, and click on the
"RECALCULATE" button.
3) The order page says my
address (or part of it) is invalid:
There's a possibility that your city could be known as
another name (e.g. "Corona, NY" could also be written as "Queens, NY" and some
systems could only recognize one or the other). Is also very possible that your
card's BILLING address may be different from your current address, and you are
trying to enter your current address (not the card's billing address on file).
This usually happens especially if you recently moved. In this case, simply use
the billing address on file with the card provider, or get in contact with them
to update your card's address. In some cases, it could also be that--for your
protection--your card provider needs to pre-approve all online purchases made
with your card.
4) How can I connect WebBrowserTV to my TV
set?
You'll need an "S-Video" cable (not included). If your TV is
older than 10 years, you may need an "S-Video to RCA" adapter. You can find either one for less than $5 on eBay. Your computer MUST have
an S-Video output in order to connect to the TV (most computers built within the
past 8 years do, anyway.)
5) Is the S-video cable
included?
No. However, you can find an "S-Video" cable for
usually less than $5 on
eBay.
6) What if my TV is NOT
compatible with S-video?
Most TVs built within the past decade
are S-video compatible. If your TV is not compatible, you'll need an "S-Video to
RCA" adapter (usually less than $5 on eBay).
7) Can I use WebBrowserTV with just
my computer monitor? (without the S-Video connection to the TV)
Yes. The S-Video connection to your TV set is optional; just
in case you want a larger view.
8) Does you provide
support in connecting my computer to my TV set?
Unfortunately, we can only provide support on our own
software.
9) Will WebBrowserTV still
work when HD signals become standard in the US?
Yes. WebBrowserTV uses Internet technology to connect its
users (not regular broadcasting signals). That means that as long as the
Internet exists, and the channels keep feeding their signals, WebBrowserTV will
still work.
10) Is WebBrowserTV compatible
with Windows Vista?
Yes--WebBrowserTV is PC/Mac compatible
with all Windows (including Vista) and Mac systems.
Please click here for channel coverage info (last paragraph.)
15) Will I be able to watch
TV channels from different US states?
Yes. In most occasions, you'll also be able to watch the same TV network from different states (e.g. live in Texas, and
watch FOX from Texas and/or Tampa, FL.)
16) How can I get a CD
instead of a download?
Unfortunately, we only provide a downloadable option at this
time. However, if file security/backup is your main concern, you actually have
many options: (a) You can burn the CD for backup purposes.
(b) You can email the software to yourself. The file size is very compact: 72KB
(only a fraction of one megabyte--a megabyte is a fraction of one
gigabyte.) (c) You don't have to actually have a backup,
since once you buy our software, you can always come back for a
re-download (as long as you fill out our request form and your personal
information matches our records.)
17) Does WebBrowserTV work
from anywhere in the world?
Yes. As long as your computer connected to the Internet. You
can buy it and take it with you, and use it anywhere in the world.
18) Will WebBrowserTV
work on a wireless, dial-up, high-speed, or wired connection?
Yes. It will work on ANY Internet connection.
19) Will picture quality
be lost if I have a dial-up Internet connection?
No. Picture quality is always the same. However, a dial-up
connection does take longer to connect to the channels (about 5 - 60 seconds
longer) and may not be able to connect to the higher-quality channels and/or may
skip (if it does connect.) Nevertheless, there's a great selection of channels
that can still be perfectly viewed on dial-up.
20) Can the image
display at both full-screen and small screen?
Yes. WebBrowserTV uses your default video player (Windows Media Player and Real
Player for PC users; and QuickTime for Mac
users.) You simply double-click to display at full/small-screen or click the
full/small-screen option (right from your player.)
21) Is there any
additional hardware required?
No. Except if you have in mind to connect your computer to
your TV set.
22) Will the S-Video
connection automatically format the image to display in a wide-screen
TV?
Yes. However, technically speaking, the computer will do
that. The S-Video cable is only a cable that connects both devices.
23) Are there any further
fees/charges after purchase?
No. Your WebBrowserTV purchase is a one-time deal, and it'll
provide you access to over 3,000 channels, as advertised. $59.95 is the exact
cost (we do not provide a service; we provide a product that provides a
service.) Any other expenses may arise as a result of connecting your computer
to your TV (cable purchase); which is optional (and you don’t buy it from us.)
$59.95 IS our official price.
24) Are the channels actually
real live TV channels?
Yes they are. With the exception of some continuous
pre-recorded news channels. The channel guide will tell you which channels are
not live.
25) How much space will
WebBrowserTV occupy in my computer?
WebBrowserTV is about 72KB in size (only a fraction of one megabyte--a megabyte
is a fraction of one gigabyte.) Most of the files run from our
servers.
26) How will my copy of
WebBrowserTV be delivered to me?
In downloadable format. You'll be able to download it once
your payment process is finished.
27) I don't have a
computer (but plan to get one), and need to buy your software; what are my
options?
Unfortunately, we only provide a downloadable option at this
time. However, you may purchase now and keep your order number handy (don't
delete your confirmation email.) Once you buy our software, you can always come
back for a re-download (as long as you fill out our request form and your personal
information matches our records.)
28) Can I order by phone
instead of online?
Unfortunately, we only provide an online ordering option at
this time.
29) If I can ONLY download
WebBrowserTV, what can I do to backup the software?
In this case, you actually have many options: (a) You can
burn the CD for backup purposes. (b) You can email the
software to yourself. The file size is very compact: 72KB (only a fraction of
one megabyte--a megabyte is a fraction of one gigabyte.) (c) You don't have to actually have a backup, since once
you buy our software, you can always come back for a re-download (as long as you
fill out our request form and your personal
information matches our records.)
30) Can I mail a check or
money order instead of paying online?
Unfortunately, we only provide an online payment option at
this time. However, if you are concerned about sharing your billing information
online, you can create an account with PayPal (www.paypal.com) so that you
can buy millions of products online and not have to worry about sharing your
billing information with anyone. PayPal acts as a third-party escrow service and
does not share your billing information with any seller. When buying our
product, our shopping cart will give you the option of logging into your PayPal
account, on the payment page, and you'll be able to pay us through them.
31) Do you accept checks
if I provide you the routing and account numbers instead of paying
online?
Unfortunately, we only provide an online payment option at
this time. However, if you are concerned about sharing your billing information
online, you can create an account with PayPal (www.paypal.com) so that you
can buy millions of products online and not have to worry about sharing your
billing information with anyone. PayPal acts as a third-party escrow service and
does not share your billing information with any seller. When buying our
product, our shopping cart will give you the option of logging into your PayPal
account, on the payment page, and you'll be able to pay us through them.
32) I have more than one
computer. Do I have to buy a copy of WebBrowserTV for each?
Yes. However, you may purchase all copies at once, and
simply visit our website from each computer to request a re-download. This will
save you a lot of time. Make sure that if you purchase several copies that all
computers running the software belong to you. We do reserve the right to suspend
your copy either temporarily or indefinitely if your copy is found running
illegally in other peoples' computers.
33) If my computer crashes, I
upgrade my computer, or I get a new computer, do I have to buy a new copy of
WebBrowserTV again?
You only need to buy the software again if you get a new
computer that has never used the software before. If your current computer/s
crash or is/are upgraded, and you've lost the software in the process, simply
click here once you're up and
running so that we can grant you the re-download access (order number required.)
34) Can I use my credit card
or debit card to buy the software?
Yes. PayPal is our e-merchant provider, but although they
will handle the electronic payment, you can use your own credit card without
having to login or create an account with them. When you click the "Buy Now"
link, and click on the "GO TO PAYMENTS" button to checkout, fill out all
required fields there, and click the "CONTINUE" button. After you verify your
information, the payment option will always be "Credit card or direct cash
payment via PayPal". Click on the "CONTINUE" button. On the next page, you'll be
able to either login to your PayPal account or just enter your own credit card
information (the credit card option may show as a very small link on the left
side of the page as "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account"--just click
the "Continue" link there.)
35) Which credit/debit cards
does BitMar.com accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and
Discover.
36) Can I use my PayPal
account to buy the software?
Yes. PayPal is our e-merchant provider. When you click the
"Buy Now" link, and click on the "GO TO PAYMENTS" button to checkout, fill out
all required fields there, and click the "CONTINUE" button. After you verify
your information, the payment option will always be "Credit card or direct cash
payment via PayPal". Click on the "CONTINUE" button. On the next page, you'll be
able to login to your PayPal account on the right side on the page. Please click
here to be taken directly to the order page.
37) Does WebBrowserTV offer
porno channels?
No. We do not. And we do not plan on doing so unless
parental control options are available with our software.
38) Does WebBrowserTV offer
parental control options?
Since WebBrowserTV operates on a relatively recent
technology, at the present moment, we do not offer parental control options.
However, it is already listed in our updates agenda, and being strongly
considered (all WebBrowserTV copies will automatically update if we do add this
option--most of WebBrowserTV's files run from our servers.)
39) Will WebBrowserTV ever
"brake down"?
WebBrowserTV cannot literally "breakdown." The only way it
"could" is if you can't open the program file from your end. In which case, you
can contact us for technical help and/or request a re-download. Since
WebBrowserTV actually runs completely from our servers, if there are any general
outages, it would be resolved in a timely manner from our end.
40) Can I record programs
like in TiVo(R) on WebBrowserTV?
Since WebBrowserTV operates on a relatively recent
technology, at the present moment, we do not offer this option. However, it is
already listed in our updates agenda, and being strongly considered (all
WebBrowserTV copies will automatically update if we do add this option--most of
WebBrowserTV's files run from our servers.)
41) Can I obtain a free trial
of WebBrowserTV?
Unfortunately, we do NOT provide free trials.
42) Can I just watch a sample
channel?
In order to preview a channel, you must be connected to our
systems. Unfortunately, we do NOT provide free trials.
44) Does WebBrowserTV provide
Closed Caption (CC) options?
Unfortunately, CC options would have to be provided by the
signal providers (TV channels.) Neither of them do at the present time.
45) Can I use WebBrowserTV in
several TVs at the same time?
First of all,
you'll only be able to view one channel per player installed. That means that
you can watch several channels at once if you have more than one player
installed. However, they will all play at the same time in the same screen; and
it'll be very hard to concentrate in one channel. Yes--you can connect more than
one TV running one WebBrowserTV, but all TVs would display the same thing. The
only way to allow each TV to display its own channels (at a time; without
interruption from the others) is to have a copy of WebBrowserTV connected to
each TV set separately (each requires a separate computer connected to the TV
set.)
46) Can I connect my computer
to my TV wirelessly?
Unfortunately, the only way to connect your computer to your
TV is with an S-Video cable; until a new technology comes along.
47) I already paid, but I'm
having problems downloading the software:
Please click here to request a
re-download (we'll check our records, and if your payment did go through, we'll
grant you a re-download.) If you get a "Your page cannot be displayed"
error message when you click to download
the software, it is very possible that your browser may be blocking the download
(look for any sings, sounds, or warnings your web browser may be
displaying--usually near the address bar--because you may need to click on the
warning to allow the download.)
48) What are the minimum
computer requirements to run WebBrowserTV?
ANY operating system (such as Windows or Mac OS), any
Internet connection (wireless, dial-up, wired, or high-speed), any Internet
browser (such as Internet Explorer, AOL browser, FireFox, Netscape, Safari,
etc.), and the following video players: Windows Media Player and Real
Player (PC users), and QuickTime (Mac
users.) You may click on any of the video player's names to download and
install. Hard-drive: any size (WebBrowserTV occupies only a
fraction of one megabyte--a megabyte is a fraction of one gigabyte.) Most of the
files run from our servers. Memory: any amount of RAM--as long as there's enough
to turn computer on (again--most of the files run from our servers.) PC/MAC
compatible.
49) I downloaded the
software, but I can't see it in my computer:
It's very possible that when you first got the option to
download the software, instead of clicking on the "Save" option, as instructed
(and saving it to a location within your computer) you may have used the "Run"
option. In this case, you'll need to re-download the software again and re-save
it in a very viewable location (such as your Desktop.) Please click here to request a
re-download (you'll need to provide us your order number.)
50) Will I be able to
adjust image to my likings (contrast, color, and
brightness)?
Yes. You can do that from your video
player.
51) Is WebBrowserTV
compatible with Windows Media Center? This way I can use Windows Media Center
as my DVR?
Since WebBrowserTV operates on a relatively recent
technology, at the present moment, we do not offer this option. However, it is
already listed in our updates agenda, and being strongly considered (all
WebBrowserTV copies will automatically update if we do add this option--most of
WebBrowserTV's files run from our servers.)
