Hallo and welcome to our webpage. I'm Christopher (call me Chris) and my wife Christiane (call her Chris). I'm a Brit, Christiane is Belgian, I moved over to Belgium from the London area in 1979 and we have been married for 30 years. We're in our late fifties and live halfway between Brussels and Antwerp, in town, in a large Victorian type town house.

I speak fluent Flemish, English of course and some French & German, I'm a manager at a large factory in the Limburg area and Christiane speaks Flemish, French, English and some German and works for the military in Brussels.

We both enjoy music, me Amercian soul music from the sixties, Christiane almost everything including Country. We've travelled, mostly Europe, the US, Canada and Asia. We also enjoy going to the movies, concerts, eating out (we're good at that) bar-b-ques, interesting places to visit, a good old chat over a cup of tea or coffee, a beer or a glass of wine. I enjoy cycling and do as much as possible, I also do some fitness, mostly indoor rowing. We have a few hobbies which are mainly one-man affairs.

We can get easily around the Brussels, Antwerp, Gent and Leuven (or elsewhere).

So what are we looking for ? Well, we'd like to meet some people here in Belgium who are like minded, around our age group (not too strict on that one) and who also want to strike up some social contact.

Nothing too structered or serious, certainly not a club but perhaps an informal circle of friends.
